Sunday At Byron boasts a unique ceremony location positioned on the highest point of an escarpment, overlooking the beauty of Byron Bay, from Cape Byron Lighthouse to the mountains. There’s a grandeur and calm about this breath-taking panorama, the perfect backdrop to your special day. The purpose built ceremony belvedere is minimal, so easily styled to match the vision of your wedding. The property also offers boutique luxury accommodation for up to 8 guests, all conveniently located only five minutes to Byron Bay town centre.
For your reception you will have exclusive use of The Italian Byron Bay. You’ll have the ability to transform the gorgeous interior, using furniture available at the restaurant, as well as The Wedding Shed’s hire & styling incorporated into your package. There is a private courtyard area, surrounded by lush palm trees, as well as a dance floor area.
Your Savvy Wed package is inclusive of all key wedding day suppliers. We’ve shortlisted the best of the best in this region so you don’t have to, meaning your wedding day will only be full of only the highest quality and trusted suppliers in Byron Bay.

Savvy Wed offers you a service where you can wipe your hands of any stress and unnecessary wasted time, while trusting that you’ll receive the upmost quality wedding day of your dreams. Your Savvy Wed planner is there to help you piece together your suppliers, corresponding with you via email and phone calls at the time of booking your package. One month out from your wedding date, your Savvy Wed planner will pull together all of the final details in a run sheet to hand over to your On-the-day Wedding Coordinator.
An experienced On-the-day Wedding Coordinator will ensure every detail of your wedding day is executed seamlessly. From the beginning of the day overseeing the décor and floral set up, to welcoming and ushering your guests, from coordinating the ceremony line up and music cues, to liaising with your MC and musicians so that everything is executed at the right time. They are there to solve any problems should they arise, ensuring everyone continues to enjoy the most perfect wedding day.
During your cocktail hour at Sundays At Byron, your choice of six gourmet canapés will be served catered by the award-winning Fig Tree Restaurant. Reflecting the whims of nature with ingredients locally sourced in the Byron Bay region, Fig Tree Restaurant’s menu offers a selection of canapés that will leave your guests raving about your wedding food.
Shortly following your arrival to your reception at The Italian Byron Bay, mains will be served in either canapé style or formal sit down – whichever you prefer.
The Italian Byron Bay has long been known for their exquisite and locally foraged menu, regarded as one of the best restaurants in town. Their talented head chef and highly experienced event coordinator have created the perfect menu for your big day; whether you want a long, roaming cocktail reception or an intimate sit down dinner.
Your wedding cake will be served roaming to finish as your guests enjoy more drinks before the party kicks off!
Sundays At Byron is a BYO venue. Fig Tree Restaurant’s staff will look after complete bar set up, service and cocktail making throughout your ceremony and cocktail hour. All of their wait and bar staff are professionally trained and certified.
Ask your Savvy Wed planner for recommendations on quantities of beer, wine, champagne & cocktail ingredients, based on your guest numbers. For ease, our local supplier has arranged some fantastic BYO beverage packages, which can be tailored to include your specific wine, beer and cocktail choices.
Please note, your alcohol will be delivered by our supplier direct to Sundays At Byron the morning of your wedding, ready to be chilled!
The Italian Byron Bay has crafted the perfect drink package for your wedding reception. This includes your choice of: 1 Sparkling, 1 White Wine, 1 Red Wine, 2 Beers, Soft Drink, Still & Sparkling Mineral Water. You have the option to add a specialty cocktail service package at $25pp/hour.
Savvy Wed work hand in hand with The Wedding Shed for all things hire & styling. They have curated a standard package covering off all the basics for your dream day, at a special discount price exclusively for our Savvy Wed couples!
Your Savvy Wed styling package includes everything you need for your ceremony, cocktail furniture, reception furniture and other details up to the value included in your package, subject to availability. Additional items may be added at an additional cost directly with The Wedding Shed.
The Wedding Shed also have several gorgeous styling services that can be added on to your Savvy Wed package to really bring your day to life. We’ll put you in touch with one of The Wedding Shed stylists about adding on a coloured napkin, a charger plate for your table setting, a luxe cushion package or special signing chairs.
Your included suppliers are set*, but not limited to a florist, celebrant, photographer, your music, wedding cake and guest transport. You’ll have a choice within each category from The Savvy Wed Collective to make up your wedding suppliers, subject to availability.
The Savvy Wed Collective is a collection of destination wedding vendors carefully chosen by our team to help deliver our quality all-inclusive wedding packages. Your choice of vendors within your package have been selected due to our experience working with them in the industry, as well as what may be best suited to your venue.

This package includes one night in Sundays At Byron's brand new boutique luxury accommodation for up to 8 guests. This modern home is complete with finishes of minimal architecture, polished concrete floors, high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows perfectly framing the coastline, ocean and horizon beyond. Opening in dual directions, the vast exterior merges with a spacious and elegant interior, with king sized beds and an indoor-outdoor bathroom result, offering a luxurious experience and timeless elegance to compliment the expansive view.
Your Savvy Wed package includes florals from one of our amazing suppliers. This includes your bridal bouquet, a floral pin for the groom, a floral arrangement for signing table, arbor floral details, four medium table centrepieces, as well as staffing, delivery and removal fee. Final inclusions and type of flowers are subject to availability. Any additional items can be organised directly with your supplier.

What ever your style, one of these gorgeous professionals will create a ceremony that truly reflects your love.
Set to a Savvy Wed standard, your base package includes 4 hours of professional photography by one of our standout suppliers. Starting with some snaps of final touches getting ready to throughout your ceremony and cocktail hour.
After your wedding day, you will receive 400 x individually edited images on a USB presented in a wooden box, as well as a personalised online gallery for you to share with your family and friends.
Your Savvy Wed base package includes music during your time at Sundays At Byron (3 hours). You have the option to add on a live band or a DJ for your reception at The Italian Byron Bay at an additional cost.
As your guests arrive to your ceremony, background music will be played from an iPod and speaker, organised by your wedding day coordinator. Live acoustic music will then begin with songs of your choice for your aisle, signing and exit song. Live music will continue throughout your cocktail hour at Sundays At Byron. A playlist of your choice will be played during your reception.
Your Savvy Wed Package includes a Two-Tier Wedding Cake, serving up to approx. 80 canapé portions. Flavours vary by supplier, with vegan options available too. Additional cake tiers or decorations can be arranged directly with your chosen supplier.
Sundays At Byron is a guest "bus in, bus out" venue, which will be arranged with one of our coach or bus suppliers. To begin the day, transport for your guests will be arranged from Byron Bay’s town centre to your ceremony location.
Your guests will be picked up from their choice of two convenient locations in town to head up to Sundays At Byron. After your ceremony and cocktail hour, they will then be taken back into town to The Italian Byron Bay for your reception.
Optional Add ons
Your Savvy Wed package can be flexible if you've already locked in a supplier, as you have the ability to swap in an alternative supplier not yet included, such as Hair & Makeup, Videographer or a DJ.
There are also a few details that are not included in Savvy Wed packages. For example, all of our venues are BYO alcohol. Your planner will put you in touch with our amazing local supplier and offer you a handy checklist to assist in making sure that nothing is missed… like picking your dream dress and making sure your partner is looking spiffy!
